Why Is It Important?
Primary school is the forming years of a student’s educational life. PSLE maths exams would be a very important event to score in. Primary school teaches us a lot about education and prepares us for the upcoming years of rote and applied learning.In primary schools, we are exposed to a wide variety of subjects that do not allow us to choose much from. The larger number of topics and subjects provide the students with a wider variety of knowledge.
The subjects like maths and computers provide a more logical mindset, while science subjects provide an analytical mindset to the students.When a child performs maths and computer science, there is a rule book that the student delves into and finds out what the teacher or instructor asks them to. In this way, after some tries, the student understands in what scenario which rule has to be applied and the general flow of events.
While studying science subjects, a student is made to analyze nature. We learned in primary school that nature is the biggest application ground of all subjects and topics. We understand that all concepts originate from nature and reside and dwell in it. The insects and roaches teach us different survival strategies, and the mute, unmoving plants teach us defiance in silence.We learn not only education but also the art of living through the primary education of our schooling.
These days there is hardly any real-life competition. Only the competition that a student participates in due to family and parental pressure.A parent compares the student from the first day of exam result to other children and tries to humiliate the child with the vision that the child will bounce back higher and stringer.We learn forced competition, friendships, what counts among friends, how not to trust our parents with our friends’ information.
We learn to disregard opinions, especially those of our family, and learn to live our own life. A life that dreams high but is still financially dependant.
How To Prepare?
Primary education is all about what one learns during these years. So it is very important to know everything that we have learned from scratch.
Revise all concepts and brush up on one’s fundamental knowledge to ace the exams.
